Remedy Entertainment 宣佈《Alan Wake 2（心靈殺手 2）》將會延期十天推出，由原定的 10 月 17 日改為 10 月 27 日。

工作室明言延期十天推出的決定是為了「避戰」！2023 年下半年有大量遊戲推出，光是在 10 月的「遊戲戰況」已經十分激烈，例如是 Xbox 的《Forza Motorsport》（10/10）、 Play Station 的《Marvel’s Spider-Man 2》（10/20）、Hexworks 工作室的類魂系作品《Lords of the Fallen》（10/28）等等；而 Ubisoft 最新的刺客教條作品《Assassin’s Creed Mirage》其實也因為同樣的原因，把發售日由原定的 10 月 12 月提早為 10 月 5 日。

對於廠商而言，一隻遊戲的成功與否，除了本身作品的質素，上市的檔期也會對銷量造成影響。雖然十月份推出的遊戲風格各異，不過，現在的遊戲動輒需要玩家耗費至少一周的時間專心攻略，廠商希望把遊戲上市日期分開一點，也是可以理解的商業考量。

《Alan Wake 2》上架日現為 2023 年 10 月 27 日，對應平台為 Xbox Series X｜S、PS5 及 PC。
